Summer Midweek Evening Vesper Services
Services will be held on Wednesday evenings, 7:00
p.m. beginning on July 9th, and continuing through
August 27th. There will
be a signup sheet in the narthex for anyone who would like to do one of two
things: (1) serve as hosts of the
evening vespers by welcoming those who attend into your homes and providing a light
dessert; and (2) those who would like to lead the vespers as liturgists.
Welcome to our new Christian Education Director
The
Staff/Parish Relations Committee is pleased to announce that Rev. Lisa Beth
White has accepted the position of Christian Education Director for the coming
year. Lisa Beth and her daughters, Celia and Mary Grace, have been
worshipping with us for the past year while Lisa Beth has been attending school
at Boston University. She is ordained from
the Texas Conference, has received two Masters Degrees and has now been
accepted at Boston
University where she will
study for her Doctorate. We are happy to have them her board with us and
ask that you extend your hand in welcome when you see her. We look
forward to an exciting year in our church!
NEW CHURCH DIRECTORY
A
new Church directory
will be put together over the summer and the goal is to have it ready
by
Homecoming Sunday, September 7th. Please contact Monique Barnum
for additional information on having your family's photo in the new
directory. Monique will be taking pictures on Wendsday, August
27th from 11:00am - 1:00pm at Church. Alternatively, please send
or email Monique your family photo for inclusion in the directory.
