BY AUTOMOBILE
From Boston and South, take Route 93 North

Take Exit 34 (Melrose/Stoneham- Rt. 28 Stone Zoo)

At first set of lights (there’s a Friendly’s and Mobil station at this intersection), turn right.

Follow directions below (“Directions continue…”)
From 128 & North, take Route 93 South

Take Exit 35 (Winchester Highlands/Melrose)

Take Left at end of ramp; go under Rt. 93 overpass

Take Right at stop sign

At first set of lights, continue straight

Go past Stone Zoo (on right)

Take next left after zoo- Pond St. (At this turn, there is a small green “Melrose” sign)

Go down Pond Street to set of lights (J.J. Grimbsy restaurant at intersection)

Continue straight through set of lights (You are now on West Wyoming Avenue.)

After about 1.5 miles you will go over train tracks.

At next traffic lights (Intersection of W.Wyoming & Main St.), turn left

Go straight, through the next three sets of lights (City Hall and Fire Station will be on your left. On the right side of Main Street is the First Baptist Church—on the corner—then the Coolidge apartments, then First United Methodist Church. It is across the street is the Cooperative Bank.)

There is parking on Main Street, and in the municipal parking lot behind the fire station.
[CAUTION: Do NOT park in the Coolidge Apartments lot next to First UMC. Your car will be towed!]
From Route 1- North & South

Take the Essex St. (Melrose/Stoneham) exit.
Route 1 North: Exit is just after Sub Villa.
Route 1 South: Exit is just before Burger King

Go past Square One Mall parking lot (on right). You are now on Essex Street which becomes Upham Street at the Saugus/Melrose line.

Travel for a just under two miles (approx. 1.8 miles from Square One Mall). Go straight through the first set of lights (at the intersection of Upham & Lebanon Streets)

At the next set of lights turn right onto Main Street. (City Hall is at this intersection. After you turn, the Fire Station will be on your left. On the right side of Main Street is the First Baptist Church—on the corner—then the Coolidge Apartments, then First United Methodist Church. The church is across the street from the Cooperative Bank.)
